Colorado Motorcycle Tour 2

Tour Overview
Our second Colorado motorcycle tour is longer: about 200 miles over 6 hours. We'll cross the Continental Divide
twice, and visit some interesting little towns and see some sweeping vistas of both mountains, as well as intermontane
plains known as "parks". One of the parks we will ride through is South Park, of Comedy Central fame.
On this tour, we'll see the following:
• Towns and sights along Highway I-285
• Bailey, Colorado and over the Continental Divide
• Fairplay, Colorado, including South Park and Alma, Colorado
• Over Hoosier Pass to Breckenridge, Colorado
• Across Dillon Dam to Dillon, Colorado
• Up past Keystone Ski Resort and back across the Continental Divide
• Back down to Denver area via I-70, past Georgetown, Idaho Springs and Red Rocks

Start and Finish Location:
The Gas Station near Morrison, Colorado, just off of route C-470.

- Head southwest on W Morrison Rd toward Soda Lakes Rd - 0.2 mi
- Continue on Bear Creek Ave - 0.4 mi
- Turn left at Bear Creek Ave/CO-8
- Continue to follow CO-8 - 2.1 mi
- Take the ramp onto US-285 S - 65.2 mi
Gas Up! Take route CO-8 to route I-285. Visit several small towns on I-285.

- Continue to follow CO-9 - 14.8 mi
- Turn left to stay on CO-9 - 7.8 mi

- At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto CO-9 N - 9.5 mi
- Turn right at Dillon Dam Rd - 3.7 mi
- Turn right at US-6 - 20.0 mi

- Take the ramp onto I-70 E - 41.9 mi
- Take exit 259 toward Morrison - 0.2 mi
- Merge onto CO-26 E - 1.3 mi
- Continue on CR-93 - 1.9 mi
- Turn right at Stone St - 335 ft
- Turn left at Bear Creek Ave - 0.2 mi
- Continue on W Morrison Rd - 0.3 mi
