Riding into Fairplay, South Park and Alma. Then over the pass to Breckenridge.
Finally, the terrain begins to get closer to the road and the speed limit begins to go down again as we approach Fairplay, Colorado.
Take a right (North) on Route 9 and into Fairplay.
Fairplay is an interesting little town; you might want to park your motorcycle and take a little walk through the streets of this little
getaway. In addition to places to eat and a eclectic assortment of tourist and antique shops, be sure to take a tour of South Park City,
the namesake of the South Park TV show.

After seeing the sites in Fairplay, hop back on your motorcycle and continue north on Route 9, up hill and past the mine tailings
that surround Fairplay. A few miles outside of Fairplay, you'll enter the even smaller town of Alma, Colorado.
Warning: Route 9 entering Alma is A KNOWN SPEED TRAP, so watch your speed entering this little town! Alma contains a few small
restaurant/coffee houses, a bar or two, and the Al-Mart General Store and Trading Company.

Continuing north on route 9 out of Alma, we start our climb up toward Hoosier Pass and to our second stop on the edge of the Continental Divide.
I really like this stretch of road; nice and twisty, but double-wide with passing lanes most of the way to the top. If you come through here on a weekday, you can find
yourself practically alone as you wind your way up to Hoosier Pass.

Park your motorcycle at Hoosier Pass and take a look at both "sides" of the continent.

Breckenridge, Colorado offers something for everyone: food, drink, art, music, and don't forget the slopes!
